Eugenix Hair Sciences, a hair transplant and restoration brand, has used a focused outdoor advertising strategy to strengthen its offline presence, complementing its digital marketing efforts. The brand has also built visibility around patient stories and transformation journeys, including that of filmmaker Boney Kapoor, whose hair restoration journey is featured by Eugenix as part of its patient success stories. According to Eugenix, Kapoor underwent a hair transplant addressing Grade 7 baldness, with 6,627 grafts used in the procedure.
Executed in partnership with Manik Advertisers an INS accredited advertising, media strategy, and PR agency based in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad—the campaign was designed around a clear business objective: to increase brand visibility among premium audiences and strengthen recall for Eugenix’s hair restoration services. Established in 1960, Manik Advertisers helps brands make smarter media choices across print, radio, outdoor, cinema, airport, OTT, and PR.From Digital Presence to Physical Visibility For a healthcare brand operating in a competitive category such as hair restoration, digital visibility can generate awareness and enquiries, but physical brand presence can also play an important role in building familiarity and recall.
Eugenix approached this challenge by taking its brand into high-traffic and premium business districts. The campaign began with metro pillar branding before expanding to metro medians, bus shelters and other premium outdoor formats across key commercial and residential micro-markets.
The strategy was not built around blanket outdoor advertising. Instead, it was hyperlocal and audience-led. The idea was to place the brand in locations frequented by the kind of audience Eugenix wanted to attract: consumers with higher purchasing potential who may be considering premium hair restoration services.
The outdoor campaign also created multiple opportunities for repeated exposure. A consumer travelling through the same business district could encounter Eugenix across different formats and locations, helping build familiarity over time.
This is particularly relevant for a category where the consumer journey is rarely an impulse purchase. Hair restoration involves consideration, research, consultation, and trust. A brand that repeatedly appears within the consumer's everyday environment can become familiar before an individual actively begins exploring treatment options.
The campaign therefore worked as more than traditional outdoor advertising. It became a brand-recall layer supporting Eugenix’s existing digital marketing activity.
At the same time, Eugenix has used real patient journeys to reinforce its brand story. Boney Kapoor is one of the prominent names featured on the brand's website, alongside other personalities and patient stories. This gives the brand an additional layer of social proof and helps connect its clinical offering with visible transformation stories.
The strategy also aligns with Eugenix’s broader positioning as a premium hair restoration brand. Its communication focuses on specialised expertise, hair restoration procedures, and patient journeys, helping establish credibility within the category. The brand identifies Dr. Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi as its co-founders and highlights their expertise in hair restoration.
The outdoor execution gave that positioning a physical presence in the consumer's everyday environment.
According to the agency's case study, the campaign helped strengthen Eugenix's visibility and engagement among its target audience. The larger marketing lesson is straightforward: hyperlocal advertising can be more effective when locations are chosen around the audience rather than simply around traffic volume.
For a premium healthcare brand, being visible everywhere may not be the objective. Being visible in the right places, to the right people, repeatedly can be far more valuable.
Eugenix’s campaign demonstrates how outdoor media can work alongside digital marketing rather than compete with it. Digital channels can capture intent, while strategically placed outdoor media can help build the familiarity that exists before that intent is created.
And when that visibility is supported by recognisable names such as Boney Kapoor, patient stories and a strong clinical positioning, the outdoor campaign becomes part of a larger brand-building ecosystem rather than just another billboard.
In a category built on trust, consideration and high-value decisions, the billboard is not necessarily the final conversion point. Sometimes, it is simply the reminder that makes the brand come to mind when the consumer is finally ready to act.
