Colgate-Palmolive India has appointed Manish Anandani as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 28, 2026. He will succeed Prabha Narasimhan, who will move to the role of Executive Vice President – Marketing, Asia-Pacific Division, effective September 27.
Anandani brings around 30 years of experience across sales, marketing, general management, and leadership. He joins Colgate-Palmolive from Kenvue, where he served as Managing Director for India and South Asia.
His appointment also marks a return to Colgate-Palmolive, where he spent 13 years between 2005 and 2018, holding leadership roles across India, Indochina and the company's corporate organisation. His last role during that stint was Worldwide Director, Global Customer Development.
Narasimhan's elevation follows her four-year tenure as MD & CEO of Colgate-Palmolive India, during which the company focused on premiumisation, digital transformation, quick-commerce expansion and category development. Under her leadership, the company's premium portfolio grew at five times the pace of the broader market, according to the company.
The leadership transition comes as Colgate-Palmolive India enters its next phase of growth, with a continued focus on premium products, digital commerce, and strengthening its position in the country's oral-care market.
